The British Council Collaboration :

This Institute had a collaboration with the British Council for a period of 5 years under Academic link interchange Scheme (ALIS)

The 18th National Convention of Indian Society for Technical Education.
The Institute had organized the 18th National Convention Of Indian Society for technical Education 1988. The Convention proved to be trend setter for subsequent conventions

In 1998 in Institute organized the III Maharashtra-Goa State Convention of Indian Society for Technical Education

ILO Scheme :
The Institute conducted Need based Training Programmes for technicians from Industries around pune.

Community Polytechnic
The Institute has set up Extension Centers in and around Pune for the benefit of rural youth. The scheme is funded by ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi.
Short courses like Wireman, Dress Making, Introduction to computers, Scooter Mechanic, Welding etc are conducted.

CEEP
The Department of Electronics is conducting Continuing Engineering Education programmes for employed people in areas like Computer Maintenance, C, C++, MS Office, Networking, etc. Department of Workshop conducts CNC programmes.
